Ideas can come from anywhere. The Tap Water Company was founded on the idea of a sustainable environment, but also as a fun ”thing”
Let me explain
Number 1: Environment

- According to the Container Recycling Institute, 100.7 billion plastic beverage bottles were sold in the U.S. in 2014, or 315 bottles per person. 57% of those units were plastic water bottles: 57.3 billion sold in 2014. The reality is that not recycling bottles creates A LOT of pollution. THEREFORE we aim to increase in the awareness of how sustainable CLEAN tap water really is!
Drinkable water from the tap removes the whole process of bottling and also minimizes the need for single-use waterbottles
Conclusion
The Number 1 reason we sell bottled tap water is to raise awareness of the benefits with tap water. As it may seem contradictory for us to sell plastic bottles, know that our bottles are from 100% recycled material
Number 2: ”Gimmick”
There are massive amounts of bottled water on the market. Mineral, Spring, Flavored water and more. Our Number 2 reason for our product is to bring the excitment of tasting water from different parts of the world!
